RosUpack 2026 Recap: Growing Demand for Automated Die Making Solutions in the Packaging Industry

2026-06-26 - Leave me a message

RosUpack 2026 has successfully concluded, and we would like to thank everyone who visited the ADEWO booth during the exhibition.

This year, ADEWO exhibited together with our Russian representative, VDcom , making the event even more meaningful for us.

We sincerely appreciate every customer who visited our booth, shared their production challenges, and discussed future cooperation.

VDcom introduction:

ООО «ВДКом Коругейтед» was founded in 2002.

VDcom is a professional supplier of equipment, spare parts, and consumables for corrugated factories, printing houses, and die making shops.

Over many years of operation, the company has proven its reliability and commitment to fulfilling its obligations.

VDcom works to make your business successful.

Showcasing Complete Die Making Solutions

At RosUpack 2026, ADEWO presented several of our latest die making solutions, including

  • Multi-Functions Automatic Rule Bending Machine
  • Laser Welder with Wire Feeding System

These machines attracted significant interest from visitors involved in folding carton die making, corrugated box die manufacturing, thermoforming cutting die production, and packaging die manufacturing.

Many visitors were impressed by the automation capabilities, flexible functions, and ease of operation of our equipment.

In particular, ADEWO not only provides Flat Die Making Machines, but also Rotary Die Making Machines, which can meet the production needs of stripping dies and other special die structures.

Our solutions are suitable for all types of carton and box packaging dies.

The exhibition also featured many other Chinese companies, as well as an increasing number of China-Russia joint ventures.

As everyone could see, Chinese equipment has improved significantly in recent years—not only offering more economical prices, but also becoming much more advanced in function and quality.

The same is true for die making equipment, which continues to develop rapidly and gain stronger recognition in the market.

Automation and Multi-functionality Are Becoming the Main Industry Trend

One of the strongest trends we observed during the exhibition was the increasing demand for automation.

Many die making shops shared similar challenges:

  • Rising labor costs
  • Difficulty finding skilled operators
  • Increasing order volumes
  • Shorter delivery requirements
  • Demand for higher precision

As a result, more companies are upgrading from traditional manual production to automated die making equipment.

Multi Functions Automatic Rule Bending Machines and Auto Following Laser Cutting Machines are becoming essential investments for improving efficiency and reducing production costs.

Packaging Manufacturers Are Building In-House Die Making Departments

Another trend we noticed is that more packaging manufacturers are considering building their own in-house die making departments.

Instead of outsourcing cutting dies, companies are investing in equipment that allows them to:

  • Build their own in-house die making departments
  • Repair dies independently
  • Improve production flexibility
  • Handle more complex die making tasks
  • Reduce tooling lead timesLower outsourcing costs
  • Develop new packaging samples faster
  • Better control product quality
  • Maintain existing customers and expand service capabilities

For many customers, compact, multifunctional, and easy-to-operate machines have become the preferred choice.

In particular, the automatic rule bending machine has become a popular investment because it helps packaging factories simplify die repair work, save time, reduce manual labor, and improve overall production efficiency.

Valuable Discussions with Die Making Shops

During RosUpack, we also had productive conversations with experienced die making companies.

Topics included:

  • Complete solutions for flatbed die making and rotary die manufacturing
  • Multi-Broaching technology for Automatic Rule Bending Machines, improving bending quality and extending steel rule life
  • New production technologies for modern die making, helping manufacturers improve efficiency and reduce labor costs
  • Laser welding technology and wire feeding welding processes for stronger, cleaner, and more consistent steel rule joints
  • Building an In-House Die Making Department, enabling packaging manufacturers to shorten lead times, reduce outsourcing costs, and gain better control over tooling production

These discussions provided valuable insights into the evolving needs of the packaging and die making industries.

They also reinforced our commitment to developing innovative equipment based on real production requirements and customer feedback.

These discussions provided valuable insights that will help us continue improving our equipment based on real production needs and the latest market trends.

Looking Ahead

RosUpack 2026 was more than an exhibition—it was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, and better understand the future of the packaging and die making industries.

ADEWO will continue developing innovative solutions for Die Making Machines

We look forward to meeting customers and partners again at future international exhibitions.

Thank you for visiting ADEWO and VDcom at RosUpack 2026.
