The Auto Nicking uses the machine's computerized system to place the nicks (the small gaps in the cutting die that allow material to fold cleanly) with absolute, repeatable accuracy on every sheet.

Manual nicking is a slow, separate step. An operator must stop, locate the spot, and use a hand tool.
Auto-nicking happens during the process itself, in a fraction of a second, with no pause in production. This significantly boosts overall job throughput.
